Do you love your body? Sadly, most people in our culture answer ‘no’ to this question.

Common reasons are emotional eating, unrealistic perfectionism, poor information about nutrition and most importantly, the underlying false belief that you are not good enough.

You’ve probably found out that Will Power alone doesn’t work. The good news is that underlying emotional blocks usually only take a single session of RTT to blast away! 

Feeling great about your body again will give you a feeling of confidence and well-being that will extend across all life areas.

Mind

In order to feel fully alive we need  some challenge and stimulation in our lives. 

Too many people underestimate what they are capable of. Sadly these limiting beliefs are often picked up at home or at school.

Emotions and Relationships

Our society seems to be facing an epidemic of anxiety, broken and dysfunctional relationships, loneliness and depression.

If you are experiencing any of these, you are not alone. The important question is, what to do about it? 

The good news is that you came into this world confident and ready for a rich emotional life and satisfying relationships. 

If you have picked up false beliefs of scarcity or not being good enough – and most of us have –  you now have a choice.

You can struggle on through life with an out of date emotional operating system, acquired randomly through your childhood and schooldays, or you can choose to install an emotional upgrade in line with who you were really born to be. 

Spirit

Do you experience a sense of wonder every day? Do you feel that your life is purposeful?

If so, you can be said to be ‘in good spirits’. Spirit is connected to the whole of life, meaning all is well with your body, mind and emotions. 

Swiss Psychologist Carl Jung noticed that many of the people who came to him in the second half of life had ‘sorted’ the usual life challenges of getting a job, raising a family etc but were troubled by questions of meaning and purpose. They were searching for meaning and what he later called individuation, a sense of wholeness about their lives.

I work with people’s conscious and subconscious minds to help them bring about the changes they want in their lives.

If there are any blocks holding you back, I can help you remove them. It doesn’t matter how long they have been there. The process will probably be easier, quicker and gentler than you can imagine.

Emotions and beliefs from early in life have an incredible power in our lives.  They go deep and they are very hard to change by the conscious mind or by will power.

However the subconscious mind knows how they came into your life. Working with your subconscious mind in a state of deep relaxation gives you a way to upgrade any limiting emotions or beliefs into empowering ones.

Removing Blocks

Blocks are anything that’s holding you back. Common ones are anxiety, depression, addictions, body and weight issues, and low self esteem. Worst of all, the belief that things can’t change. Typically, you have used all your reserves of will power and effort and yet the blocks remain. 

In our garden we had a huge tulip tree that was sadly dying, and large branches fell off without warning. Sadly, it had to go. This also created an opportunity. The whole garden was steeply sloped. We wanted a level area to play games and host parties (and even weddings!)

It was comparatively easy to cut down the tree and level the ground. However a huge tree stump remained, right in the middle. We thought of making a feature of it but no, it would block all our ideas for that area. 

A friend with a small digger spent several hours trying to remove the stump, to no avail. We tried digging it out with spades and pickaxes but it would have taken us years. 

An emotional block can seem like that tree stump. However much effort we put into trying to remove it was to no avail. We could have lived with that stump for decades before it would have finally rotted away. 

Fortunately, though, a solution was at hand. We were introduced to Andy, a brilliant, one armed digger driver. He had the right tool for the job, and within 30 minutes the stump was out and on its way to the bottom of the garden, where it features in a stumpery. 

I’ve been coaching for years, but only recently have I come across the therapeutic equivalent of Andy and his digger – Marisa Peer’s Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT). Check her out on Youtube!  

Marisa claims that underlying all the thousands of people whose lives she has changed for the better through her remarkable therapeutic skills and techniques, there are just three – yes only three – limiting beliefs that crop up again and again. 

The reason I invested my time and money to train personally with her is that her methods offer the most rapid and powerful way to bring about change at this deep level. 

The three beliefs are

  • I’m not enough (good enough, worthy enough, loveable enough)
  • Good things that others have are not available to me
  • I’m different and can’t connect

Having negative underlying beliefs can lead to a whole range of emotional issues: feelings of depression or anxiety, a feeling of being disconnected from others, all kinds of addictions, problems in relationships. 

Where these have persisted for a while it can feel like it is ‘just how life is’ but that is not the case: you were not born depressed, or anxious, or addicted. Often it takes just one session to remove the block for life. 

When you have an RTT session with me I will put you in a deep state of relaxation and ask your subconscious mind how and when the block came into your life. If it has clearly served its purpose, you can then let it go forever. Occasionally the block is upgraded into something more useful (had it been somewhere else we could have turned the stump into a table). 

Living Your Authentic Life

When you live your authentic life you experience overflowing wellness in body, mind, emotion and spirit. For some this will also involve high achievement and spectacular successes in business, sport or culture. But that is not necessarily your way. 

Your path may be to become an amazing friend, parent, baker of cakes, gardener, member of a choir or orchestra, fixer of things. When others, however well-meaning, tell us how to live our lives it usually makes us feel bad.

Our authentic life comes from inside us: it can’t come from the outside. Our life’s work is to listen and let it unfold.

If all you want me to do is remove a block out of your life I’m delighted with that. You are then free to work out your authentic life in your own way, and indeed you may already be far along that path. 

However you may be aware that, in the busyness of life, you are being swept along by the current and your authentic life is far off. If so it won’t come by chance: it will need an investment of your time, focus and yes money. 

You could possibly climb Mount Everest by yourself but it makes sense to have a guide who’s familiar with the terrain and knows what resources are needed. In the long run this will save you time and money (and improve your chances of reaching your destination!)

Removing a block with RTT

If you have a single issue, which you know is holding you back, a single RTT session is often enough.

Common issues are addictive or compulsive behaviours (alcohol, smoking, drugs, shopping, pornography etc): excessive weight or an eating disorder: feelings of low self esteem: mild anxiety, relationship or sexual problems.

For more complex conditions of depression, severe anxiety, PTSD and Anorexia I recommend a package of three sessions spread out over three months. This allows for lifestyle changes to take effect and for any related complications to be sorted out. 

Live Your Authentic life: One Life Area

This is an intensive 12 week programme in which you will 

  • Evaluate the whole of your life to see what’s going well what not so well
  • Identify one significant life area to focus one: this could be work; body and health; emotions and friendships; spiritual life and purpose; work life balance
  • Have 5 sessions with me, one every three weeks, comprising 4X 90 minute coaching sessions and one RTT session (or 3X coaching and 2X RTT if required)

Binge eating

Anxiety

I have felt more positive about the future and my time at university, I came in slightly terrified to return and now I am ready to go, see what happens, without pressure of success or failure. Phobia and Unsettled Dreams

When I acknowledged I had developed a phobia of driving over bridges, I realised I needed to embrace some remedial therapy. Whilst a fear of falling may be common, ‘driving off a bridge’, or ‘freezing in the middle lane of a motorway bridge’  seriously impact one’s available travel options. When I learnt of Peter’s Hypnotherapy approach, with a single intense session, I felt it was worth engaging with the process, to overcome this phobia.
Under hypnosis, an infant trauma of a near drowning experience in the sea, was identified, and explored, with two reinforcing traumas of a similar intensity and nature (involving water). Peter then gave me a fresh coherent ‘narration’ to these traumas, which I am now attempting to embrace, as I travel to visit friends.
In preparation for our session I was asked to complete a form to identify issues that I recognised in myself, and we agreed to focus on the phobia mentioned above, however, one of the other issues I had mentioned was my ‘Stressful Dreaming”. In the week since my session with Peter, I have experienced what I would describe as ‘Peaceful Dreaming’, and attribute this to the session I had with Peter, and the therapy he offered extending beyond the initially identified symptom, for which I am genuinely grateful.

Extraordinary and life changing

Initially I was really skeptical about hypnosis because my only experience of it was going to these weird shows where people were apparently being knocked out and made to do stupid things and I wasn’t going to do that!

Also, I wasn’t sure if I could be hypnotised, I’m a do-er, not a be-er, what I was really surprised by - absolutely stunned by … was that I was able to go into a state of calm (I wasn’t asleep or knocked out) and I was able to process things as Peter guided me without all of the extra noise...

I was in this place of calm…I decided I was just going to trust the session ..I really wanted to sort some things that I hadn’t been able to sort before
